Andrie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been providing mental health services in Northern California for the last fifteen years. She graduated with distinction from California State University, Chico with a Master of Science degree in psychology in 2009. Since then, she has been providing counseling services to a wide range of individuals of diverse backgrounds including, teens and their families, young adults, ethnic and racial minorities, LGBTQ+ and other underserved populations. She has extensive experience working with victims and perpetrators of sexual assault and domestic violence, those who are in crisis, and those who have experienced trauma.
Andrie has received training in several therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy and family systems theory. She follows a humanistic approach in her work. Her therapeutic process is client centered and tailored to each client’s individual needs.
She finds it rewarding to work with those who have symptoms linked to depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress, trauma, or loss and works to encourage healing of intra and interpersonal relationships, aiding client’s in rediscovering their authentic selves.
Andrie is also part of Siyan Clinical’s Project Brighter Path and provides therapeutic services to empower previously incarcerated individuals toward wellness. She also provides ongoing therapy services for individuals and family members who struggle with mental health needs. She continues to honor inclusivity relating to racial, ethnic and LGBTQ+ backgrounds.
